Ağaçkakan Headquarters

This building is designed for a company that specializes in pre-printing services. Sprawled across a total area of 4,200 sqm, the structure expands like an ‘iceberg’ underground. Exposure to sunlight in the basement is provided through galleries designed in the interior. The Municipality’s prerequisite console effect is eliminated by setting the Phoenician-stone façade on the ground. The remainder of the façade is coated with mosaics, whereas the roof is lined with zinc. As EC Architecture’s own design, the iron curtain wall system of the stairwell lets natural sunlight into the hallways of the building.
