The HubX office project, which provides application software services for iOS and Android-based mobile operating systems, is an interior design project for an 820 m² space located in the Maslak Square building.
Founded in İzmir in 2021, the company required a new office in Istanbul in line with its growth strategy. In addition to workspaces where employees can comfortably focus, various social areas connected to the café were designed for relaxation, social interaction, and presentations. The social area was positioned close to the entrance and intentionally separated from the workspaces to minimize direct interaction. This planning aimed to prevent noise and high activity levels in the social zones from causing distraction and reducing concentration in the working areas.
To accommodate large gatherings and events, which play an important role in the office’s internal operations, flexible spaces were created within the social area to adapt to different needs. In line with the company’s growth objectives, spaces encouraging interaction between new and existing employees were designed to strengthen communication. Considering future expansion scenarios, custom-designed and manufactured workstations were developed as part of a long-term planning approach.
In accordance with the company’s preferences, material selections avoided excessive variety, favoring products with clean lines and neutral tones.
Feedback from the existing İzmir office was carefully evaluated to ensure that every user could benefit equally and comfortably from all spaces. Enhancing workplace comfort and productivity became one of the main criteria of the design.
This project aims to create an environment where everyone working in the office can feel comfortable and at ease while also maintaining high productivity. Considering the long and intensive working hours common in the software industry, the office environment was supported with enjoyable communal spaces, transforming the office into not only a workplace but also a social living environment.
