The project consists of fourteen villas sprawled across a total area of 6500 m2 in two separate plots away from the city center and surrounded by forest land. In the early stages of the project, natural conditions such as topography, climate, movements of the sun, and wind were examined in detail and two villa types were created. The objective of the project was to design a residential community that would be part of nature, but minimize environmental factors such as heat, wind, etc., by creating comfortable spaces.

International architectural solutions for the climatic conditions of the Mediterranean region were examined, analyzed with respect to topography and environmental effects, and spatial solutions based on the appropriate indoor and outdoor relationship were developed.Multiple terrace areas, which can be used at different times during the day, have been designed for each villa; joinery and skylight solutions have been developed to support natural ventilation.

The layout was determined by trying to preserve the existing fabric of trees and evaluating each villa’s location in relation to the others and the landscape. A plan structure that accommodates both public and private habitation was created by taking the organic fabrics as examples.
Shadow and topography analyses were made using the plug-ins of three-dimensional programs, and a project compatible with current building technology was designed by combining these analyses with the accumulation of local architectural examples. Each residence is designed to produce its own electricity using PV panels. Building structures and roofing materials have been selected with this vision in mind.
